The Riverside Cyclones won their first round of playoffs on Friday, November 1st when they faced the Jefferson County North Chargers. The first quarter was uneventful, as it ended with a score of 0-0. A 19-yard hand-off from Beckam Griffin to Elijah Moore got the Cyclones on the board. The extra point was good by Chase Hewins. An 11-yard run by Moore scored again, and the extra point was good for Hewins. Griffin blocked the punt attempt and ran the ball in to score again for the Cyclones. The extra point was good by Hewins. The Cyclones led the Chargers 21-8 at halftime. A 5-yard quarterback kept by Griffin scored again. The extra point was good by Hewins. A 43-yard pick-six by Keagan Hughes scored again for the Cyclones. The extra point was good by Hewins. A 17-yard run by Moore scored one final time for Riverside. The extra point was good by Hewins. The Cyclones led 42-8 at the end of the third quarter. The final score of the game was 42-22, Riverside.

The Cyclones will travel to Pittsburg, Kansas, to face St. Mary's Colgan on Friday, November 8th, for regional play. Game time will be at 6:00 p.m.
