It's Doniphan County's first ever Community Shower!
The event is for Doniphan County expecting families and infants up to 6 months old. However, if young families are in need of local resources, car seat safety information or would simply like to meet other young families, they are welcome to attend as well.
Picture Day for Picture Retakes for both campuses as well as Middle School Wrestling and MS Dance sports pictures, and senior composite pictures will be on Wednesday November 6th.
For student retake pictures, if you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required. If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken.

High School Daily Announcements 10/22/24
Riverside Cross Country
Over the last 2 weeks, Riverside High School and Middle School have had some important meets with great results. First was the middle school NEKL league meet at Jackson Heights, where 8th grader Kelly Kline finished 12th with a time of 14:50 and Garrett Mullins placed 23rd with a time of 16:23. Both were good results for the heat and tough conditions that day.
For high school the highlight was also the NEKL league meet where sophomore Eric Ashworth placed 3rd and earned all league first team honors. Sophomore Destin Johnson and freshman Coraline Frakes also had amazing days with personal bests of almost 2 minutes each. We head into regionals this week and the possibility of state the next, it’s been an exciting year for Riverside XC.
Eric Ashworth was 3rd in league and the other 2 had almost 2 minute pr’s!!!!

BOARD OF EDUCATION SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE : The Riverside Board of Education October 14th Regular Monthly Meeting has been postponed until Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. in the District Office-BOE Conference Room, 1409 Vermont, Elwood, KS 66024.
Riverside junior Ty'Zell Harrington broke the school record for receiving yards in a single game. He broke it Friday, October 4th after the Cyclones defeated the Horton Chargers.
Ty finished the game with four receptions for 153 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
The school record was previously held by Kyle Studer for 141 yards and was set in 2012.
