Yesterday in first grade, we celebrated Kansas becoming a state 163 years ago! We watched informative Kansas videos, had delicious Kansas themed cookies, and voted on our favorite Kansas team! The 💙🖤🌀💙🖤🌀 Cyclones won easily! Happy Kansas day!🌾🦬🌻🐝

Riverside USD 114 is soliciting community input as the Board of Education begins the process of revising our strategic plan. During this process, we will be creating goals and action plans to improve our educational system with the outcome of making a positive impact on students. In addition to completing the online survey please add the following dates to your calendar. On February 19th and March 5th from 5:30 - 8:30 pm we will be hosting opportunities for community members to provide additional feedback. These meetings will be held in Wathena in the west campus cafeteria. We will be sending out more information regarding the in-person meetings soon.

Reminder…order forms for our Riverside Elementary Country Cookie Fundraiser are due by Thursday, January 25th. This year cookies may be ordered and sent to students PreK-5th grade at East Campus!

Friday, January 26th is an early release day for students. High school and middle school students at the west campus will be dismissed at 12:45 pm and the elementary students at the east campus will be dismissed at 1:00 pm.
The HS basketball games at Royal Valley, scheduled for today, have been postponed until tomorrow, Wednesday, 1/24/24. Same times, still AT Royal Valley (Hoyt).
With extreme caution in mind, due to worsening road conditions, Riverside U S D 1 1 4 will now be closed today, Tuesday, January 23rd.
