Our annual Countdown to Christmas Break will begin on Thursday, December 4th.

Here is the QR code for High School girls and boys wrestling and girls and boys basketball pictures that will be taken on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at the East campus after school.

Alert:
After careful consideration, we have made the decision to keep students for the full school day and not release early. We believe staying in session will allow additional time for the snow to move through and for street crews to clear the roads before dismissal.
Additional updates:
• HCC Tech Center students will not attend classes today.
• Middle School Girls Basketball is canceled for tonight.
Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize student safety.

Give Where You Live:
Help Upgrade Riverside Athletic Facilities
The Riverside community is preparing once again for Give Where You Live Day, an annual
celebration of local generosity that allows residents to support programs and projects within the
district directly. This year, Riverside USD 114 is encouraging families, alumni, and supporters to
help upgrade our sports facilities by contributing to the Riverside USD 114 Foundation Fund.
Give Where You Live Day has long been an important source of support for district initiatives.
Last year, funds raised were used to purchase new, age-appropriate playground equipment,
providing safer, more engaging spaces for our youngest students. We are also looking to add
basketball goals to the area. The successful addition has already made a positive impact,
offering students the opportunity to play, explore, and enjoy recess to the fullest.
With the growing needs of student-athletes and increased participation across sports, the district
is now focusing on updating and improving athletic facilities.
Donations made through the Riverside USD 114 Foundation Fund during Give Where You Live
Day allow supporters to double their impact through matching opportunities from area partners.
Every dollar contributes to creating better, safer, and more modern facilities for current and
future Cyclones.
The district invites the entire Riverside community to join in supporting this year’s initiative. By
giving where we live, we invest not only in our schools—but in the future of every student who
learns, plays, and competes here.
Pictured below are the recent upgrades from Give Where You Live Day. Riverside Elementary
received new playground equipment, and we are considering adding basketball goals to the
area.
