The junior class of Centralia will be serving chili & cinnamon rolls at tomorrow nights football game. Serving will begin at 6:00 PM on the back side of the concession stand.

Students in grade 3-5 can earn "red tickets" from staff members when they display positive behavior. Each classroom teacher draws a name at the end of the week. Riverside Elementary September Character Kids. These students were chosen because they demonstrated "EMPATHY". Empathy is the ability to be aware of, understand, and be sensitive to another person's feelings. Instead of focusing on how these feelings impact ourselves, empathy, motivates us to focus on others and respond with care and compassion.

Riverside Middle School 6th grade students put their creativity and computer skills to work this Halloween season. Using the design and digital communication techniques learned in their Computer Applications class, students created personalized Halloween greeting cards filled with festive artwork and thoughtful messages.

These handmade digital creations were printed and delivered to nursing homes and senior centers in both Wathena and Elwood. The project combined technology education with community service, allowing students to apply classroom learning in a meaningful way while brightening the day of local seniors.

Through this activity, students demonstrated not only their growing proficiency in computer applications but also the importance of kindness, creativity, and community connection.

Riverside Middle School Boys Wrestling Meet

The Riverside Middle School boys wrestling team is set to compete on Saturday, November 1st, at 9:00 AM at Doniphan West. This meet marks an exciting opportunity for the team to showcase their hard work, determination, and sportsmanship on the mat.

Athletes have been training diligently, focusing on technique, endurance, and teamwork as they prepare to face tough competition. Family, friends, and fans are encouraged to come out and support the wrestlers as they represent Riverside with pride and dedication.
