The RMS 8th grade girls basketball team had their last home game last night. They beat Perry-Lecompton 38-24, bringing their record to 10-3. Congratulations lady Cyclones! 🌪

8:30 a.m. – Some Student Council students will leave for 2nd Harvest.
Seminar: Cyclone Choir will meet in the music room; NHS meeting in the art shop.
2:55 p.m. – Students released to the gym for a pep assembly. Cheerleaders and dancers will be excused at 2:45.
4:30 p.m. – Home basketball vs. Troy. Admission to the game is $4 for students and $6 for adults.

Lifetouch will be taking basketball and wrestling pictures on Wednesday, Dec. 8, after school. Your coach will have order forms.
Riverside SADD is sponsoring a non-perishable foods and personal hygiene items drive through Friday, December 17. Bring your food and personal hygiene items to Mr. Cera’s classroom or the office. Competition will be between classes.
If you are wanting to request a 2nd semester class change, pick up a class change form - they will be posted outside of Mrs. Vertin’s office.
Master schedules will also be available if needed. You must have all signatures before turning in your form. If you have more than one change, use the back of the form.
The last day to turn in your request is Friday, Dec. 10th.

Well, it finally happened... Mrs. Gove's class got MAIL! We got 3 letters from our soldiers! The kiddos were so excited, I was only able to snap a few quick pictures. Each soldier had written a very nice letter. One complimented a student on her excellant handwriting and said the picture she sent him was the best in the whole platoon, one shared how he'd joined the army to help pay for medical school and how thankful he was to get a letter from someone other than his mom, and one sent out student an official US Army patch for a birthday gift. The class is over the moon with excitement as we wait for more mail.
The RMS Girls basketball games vs. Perry-Lecompton at home tonight will begin at 4:30 in the RMS gym. 7th grade game followed by the 8th grade game.
