On Thursday, August 12, 6:30, we will hold our Freshman and New Student Orientation. Parents and students are encouraged to attend. Some members of National Honor Society will be there to answer questions and give tours following the presentation.

Calling all Middle School girls wanting to play volleyball! As new coaches we would love to have a meet and greet with parents and children on Thursday August 12th, from 6-8pm in the East Campus gym. It is not mandatory, but we are wanting to get an idea of how many players we are going to have. We also want to be able to answer any questions and get to know the goals of players and parents for the season! Both of us are so excited to get the opportunity to coach and work with each and every girl!

BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING NOTICE OF CHANGE The regular scheduled meeting for Monday, August 9, 2021 has been rescheduled until Monday, August 16, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. and will be held at the District Office Board of Education Conference Room, 1409 Vermont, Elwood, KS 66024.
Middle school football will have a football equipment check out and meeting on Friday, August 13 at 6:30 in the old gym in Elwood. There will be a parent meeting to follow around 8:30.
Our first football practice will be Monday, August 16 at 3:30 in Elwood.
Riverside students Braedyn Rupe and Delanie Hundley met today in Topeka with other students from the state SAFE board along with state officials to plan for the annual Teen Traffic Safety Conference to be held in November. It was a great opportunity for them to build leadership skills, work with their peers from around the state and plan events that will impact students locally and beyond to hopefully promote safer driving habits and save lives.
