The Riverside Middle School Cyclones host Holton tonight!! Volleyball will be in the East gym starting at 4:30PM with 7A and 8A, followed by both B games. The Football team will start at 4:30PM with the 8th grade game, followed by the 7th at the West Campus. Come support your CYCLONES!

Students who want to request a class change, the forms are posted outside of Mrs. Vertin's office. The form must be completely filled out with all signatures before a change can occur.
Tomorrow is the last day to change classes. After that, only teacher or administrator-initiated class changes will be allowed.
Riverside will be participating in the football jamboree with Troy and Rossville at Highland Community College tomorrow night beginning at 6:30. Admission to the jamboree is personal hygiene items that will be donated to Kaden’s Kloset. Monetary donations will also be accepted.

There will be a student council meeting tomorrow morning at 7:15 in the conference room. If you cannot make it please let Mrs. Rebecca or Mrs. Amanda Davis know.
Cheerleaders have spirit wear for sale for the football jamboree tomorrow night. It is $3 for a hat and vest in the construction theme. Please let a cheerleader know if you are interested or email Mrs. Rebecca. Limited supplies available.

Dates have changed on calendar in OCT.
It is open to all parents and students who are going to be in the 6th grade band this school year. The event will be held at 6:00pm in the west campus cafeteria.
Last night, freshmen came together for orientation. They were introduced to the school rules and expectations by Mrs. Laipple and Mrs. Vertin. Following was a tour of the school by NHS members. Fun was had by all as Mrs. Laipple handed out treats to the students.
Back to school event Aug 19 at the Elwood Park! (RIVERSIDE KIDS ONLY pre-k-12)
Tonight will be Freshman Orientation starting in the auditorium @ 6:30 PM.
The RMS Volleyball practice will begin Monday August 14th from 300-500PM in the Wathena Gym. Girls must have athletic wear, volleyball shoes, physical and concussion forms all turned into the school prior to practicing.
