Riverside won their 3rd straight last night against Axtell before losing a 40-37 decision against ACCHS tonight. Congratulations ladies!!
Cyclone boys improve to 9-3 with 2 convincing wins last night and tonight over Axtell and ACCHS. Congratulations!!
Wrestlers place at Big 7 League Tournament
RHS Weekend Sports News:
Tonight, Friday January 29th, RHS basketball vs. Axtell will start at 4:30 pm.
JV girls and boys will play half games followed by the varsity games.
The wrestlers’ Senior Parent Night recognition will be immediately following girls’ varsity game. Winter coronation will take place between the varsity games after Senior Night for Wrestling.
Reflecting the new KSHAA guidelines the following Covid guidelines will be in effect:
4 spectators per participant for Home team;
2 spectators per participant for visiting team
EVERYONE MUST WEAR A MASK in the way it was intended to be worn
Please practice 6 feet Social distancing
No concessions will be available.

Cyclone Olympics are under way!!
**BUS CHANGE**
The 3rd and Oak bus stop will be Bus 5 starting Monday. Pick up time will be 7:20 a.m. This change will only affect the Elwood route.
8th grade science got to take a look under the skin (Human Body System Unit). Finding muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones. This is helping the students learn about the types of body systems and tissues.

The Middle School boys basketball game tonight, January 28, 2021 will begin at 4:30 p.m. at Holton High School. Order of games will be 7A, 8A, and then a Combined B game. Two parents per player are allowed.

Due to the forecast of inclement weather, with the expectation of increasing snow accumulation leading to deteriorating road conditions, there will be no school tomorrow, Monday, January 25th, 20 21 for all Riverside U S D 1 1 4 schools. All after school practices, games, and activities are cancelled. Again, there will be no school tomorrow. Stay safe everyone.
Great night for Riverside basketball last night! Boys and girls JV wins, followed by the varsity girls with a 46-30 win over Valley Falls and the boys with a 70-35 win over Valley Falls, improving to 7-3 on the year. Congratulations to all!!
